No, I’ll be honest and say of course not. We believe we should all be HomeForDinner. HomeForDinner is a core foundational value here at Venus. I’m celebrating teachers and schools that educate my kids. I’m celebrating kids not being in my zoom rooms. So, this week, I’m celebrating kids going back to school. Eating lunch, getting snacks, playing, reading, watching a show. My kids, behind me, prominently featured in my zoom calls and company meetings. Working with kids home from school and no childcare is a special kind of summer “vacation.” This picture was a lot of our summer. Yes, we enjoyed a lack of the “rat race” and activities. Yes, we had a great family vacation and enjoyed our time “off” with our children. This was taken from my office a few days ago (right before school started) and it perfectly depicts my summer. Those cute little hearts behind me are my two kiddos.
